Description
Very nice Yasukuni Shrine Forge sword by Yasunobu. Yasunobu's real name is Murakami Ensaku, and he was born in 1907. e studied under the famous Ikeda Yasumitsu at the Nihonto Tanren Kai. In 1939 he was give the Tosho name of Yasunobu. Suguha with nice activity done in nie-deki with a fine itame-masame hada. Tang is ubu 1 hole in good condition. In WW2 Gunto mounts, this is a “fresh” sword in old polish. It could use a professional polish one day, but all the characteristics are clear. The WW2 Gunto mounts are original and complete high grade mounts in very good condition with a officiers tassel. An original habaki also accompanies this sword. Blade is in very good condition with one small nick in the ha, and a couple of nicks (not openings) in the mune and with some light scratches.
