Beautiful top quality
tanto Koshirae. The saya lacquer is of the best type used for sword.
Gold (real gold) thick lacquer with a beautiful painting of birds
in the water among the grasses. Gorgeous all matching Shibuichi mounts-everything
is matching-Fuchi Kashira, Tsuba, Kozuka Kogai, Kurikara,Koiguchi
and is all original. Blade is a hirazukuri with carving of So-no Kurikara
on one side. Soshu style gunome midare with Kinsuji and nie. In very
good condition this sword dose NOT need a polish. Signed “Soshu ju
Akihiro” this signature is not deemed genuine. Blade looks to be that
of the Gassan Sadakazu School, of his were “faked” for famous older
makers.
Total package is in very excellent condition. |
