| Very good Nanbokucho Nagamaki
Naoshi attributed to the Tanshu Hojoji School. Hojoji Kunimitsu was
one of Soshu Sadamunes students, and carried out his traditions very
well. There are many Juyo-Token for the Hojoji School, and this piece
could be considered. Very nice active gunome choji that resembles
very much like that of the Ichimonji School. Kinsuji, with inazuma
appear with lots of ashi and yo. Midare utsuri shows well throughout
the blade on a very nice hada of itame with chikeiu. Very healthy
with an Okissaki, this sword represents the Soshu Nanbokucho Schools
very well. An Excellent study piece. NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon with Tanobe
sensei’s beautiful sayagaki. In Top class polish , shirasaya
and habaki all done in Japan by top craftsmen. |
