Description |
Very nice kozuka attributed to the Mino Got School. The work resembles that of the Goto School, but there are slight differences in the style and manufacture. The wider, longish style of the dragon along with the style of the nanako background leads us to the Mino School. The design of the dragon among the clouds is cut very well. The gold work is of high quality as it should be from this school. The carving is very high in relief and well detailed. There are some small areas of wear, but this kozuka is still in very fair condition. |
