Description
Very nice red copper kozuka with a design of a farmer and his pack horse. The added piercing in the end section of the kozuka adds to the design giving it a nice feeling of being a true live scene. Good use of gold silver and shakudo for the design. Nara works are very pleasant in their designs, as they often deal with nature or natural subjects. Signed Masamitsu.

Description
Very nice kozuka attributed to the Mino Got School. The work resembles that of the Goto School, but there are slight differences in the style and manufacture. The wider, longish style of the dragon along with the style of the nanako background leads us to the Mino School. The design of the dragon among the clouds is cut very well. The gold work is of high quality as it should be from this school. The carving is very high in relief and well detailed. There are some small areas of wear, but this kozuka is still in very fair condition.
