Very
nice and very long 29 3/8" Shin Sakuto Japanese sword katana in complete mounts. Very nice wide blade with konotare hamon with konie/nioi. Grain is koitame. Blade is in full Japanese polish. No flaws.
Complete with mounts all crafted in Japan. Fittings are modern. Saya in black lacquer in excellent condition, handle wrap is a very good leather wrap. If you are looking for a excellent Iiato or tameshigire blade, this is it, at a very reasonable price. This is the same sword that a lot of people use for tameshigiri in Japan.
