Rare Soshu den tanto made by Gassan smiths Enomoto Sadayoshi and Sadahito. Regular works by these smiths are very popular, but a joint effort is especially interesting. For a complete explanation of these 2 famous smiths, please see the jpg files below that are from the book “The New Generation of Japanese Swordsmiths.” By Tamio Tsuchiko. This is a very good book, and brings lots of light to the lives of the swordsmiths that help keep the tradition alive, just like Masahide in the 1800’s did.
