Description |
Nice fully mounted gendaito katana signed "Nagamitsu saku". Originally in WW2 mounts, the blade has since then been re-mounted in traditional mounts. Tsuba is a nice iron plate with good use of soft metal for design highlights of a autumn leaves. from the 1800's . Menuki are nicely carved cranes done in silver and gold. Fuchi kashira are modern with a ishime finish in copper. Mounts are in good condition
The blade has a nie deki gunome hamon with ko-itame
jigane in good old polish. Blade is solid and in good condition. |
