Los Angeles: The NTHK West Coast Branch with the Nanka Token Kai will be putting on a very large sword display during the Nisei Week celebration held in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles. The celebration includes booths of food, martial arts demonstrations as well as one of the largest Taiko (Japanese drums) gatherings around.

Nisei week has the largest Ondo (traditional street dance) in the United States. Located on First Street between Central and San Pedro Streets.

Japanese Sword and Fittings Exhibition

In addition to a large display of Japanese swords, there will be sword fittings, a display on how a sword is made, and other pieces of antique Japanese art. It is one of the best once a year displays of favorite items from private collections available in the United States.
