Description
Very nice design of wheat stalks in the wind. Well cut by the artist, it gives the effect that the stalks are moving with the gust of the wind. Usually tsuba of this type are done by the Choshu School, but this tsuba has some characteristics of the Kinai School as well. However, it is a very nice piece especially for the price. Nice color and surface texture as well. This type looks especially nice when mounted.

Rare iron plate tsuba with design done in gold and red lacquer. This tsuba is done in a very pleasant style with the design of the Iris flower finished very gracefully. Description
Very nice Myochin School iron plate tsuba with both sukashi bori as well as sukidashi bori. Very nice 4 lobed shape with good design of a war axe with small light surface carving. The iron plate is well done as expected by this school, and is in good condition. This type of tsuba looks very good on a sword, and even though it is very attractive in its design, was very practical as well. It has a very thick rim tapering outward from the center.
