Description
Large set of high grade shakudo menuki with a design of bridle bits. This was a common theme for the Goto School, and the work of this set is consistent with that school’s work style. Done in shakudo with gold and silver for the accents, this set appears to have some age to them, and look to be from the mid edo period. Very large in size and width, they are definitely katana sized. The design is well cut and shows quality.
