| Large top grade shakudo set of menuki done in the form of eggplants. Nasu (eggplants are a very popular theme used by both the Kokinko and Goto Schools. By looking at the deep black shakudo used for the design, one can see that this set is made by a top grade artist. Light use of gold for the accents shows the elegant taste of the carver, and highlights the design well. In very good condition, we recommend that this set be submitted for shinsa. |
