| Well done large set of ken and dragon menuki in various mixed metals. Set is well carved and if one notices, even the gold work is done in high level. Some people don’t think that copper menuki are of any consequence, but yet these are the people that fail to see quality. This large set in both the design as well as the materials is done very well. They can be both collected or used on a very nice mount. The patina is very nice, and that is the reason that they should not be cleaned. The subject of the ken and dragon is long been known as the struggle of good v.s. evil and is a popular subject among the samurai. |
