| Dai-Sho set of swords
by Shinano Tadakuni. From the famous Horikawa School, Shinano Tadakuni
is rated as a Jo-saku smith. Both swords are in full polish with new
shirasaya and gold foil habaki. The Dai has a hamon of gunome midare
with ashi, nioi shimari. There is some small openings on one side
in the monouchi area, but nothing serious. Tang is ubu 1 hole. The
Sho has a similar type of gunome hamon, but done in slightly larger
fashion. But they are a good match and are set at a very reasonable
price. Tang is also ubu 1 hole. |
