Description
Gorgeous shinsakuto made by one of the most famous modern day swordsmiths.  Sword made by Yoshihara Kuniie (Shoji) who is a mukansa (above contest level).   Kuniie is the brother of Yoshindo Yoshihara, and both smiths share famous reputations for their high quality swords made today.  Most likely both makers will become living national treasures, so here is a fantastic chance to own one of their swords without the newly ordered price tag.  New swords ordered from these smiths average around $30,000 - $40,000 US.  This sword is a fantastic copy of a Kamakura Bizen blade.  Most likely an Ichimonji utsushi mono (copy) blade, this sword has very beautiful choji midare with lots of ashi.  Fine jitetsu, shows well due to a top class Mukansa polish.  Top grade shiarasaya and habaki are also included.  Nothing but the best is used for Kuniie's swords.  A very well cut deep groove compliments the swords strong shape.  Need one say more?
