| Description |
| Bizen katana with a very nice hamon done in the style of Koto Sukesada. This blade is made by Hichibei no jo Sukesada. He is the grandson of the famous Yosozaemon Sukesada who worked in the Koto period and was the most famous of the Sukesada line.Good Sukesada blades have what is known as a personal name added in the signature. As in this case, the personal name of Hichibei is added before the Sukesada name. This is called a zoku-mei. Zoku-mei pieces are of better quality, and are considered to be NOT mass produced. This hamon of koshi biraki gunome is very nice and looks like his grandfathers style. The grain is very beautiful, with ko itame with fine chikei. The blade is very healthy, and in good polish. This is a very nice sword and a good example of high level Sukesada. He is also listed as very good for his sharpness (Wazamono) In shirasaya with a silver habaki.
