| Done in the style of the famous Goto School. This tsuba is very nice with a solid shakudo plate, nanako background, high relief carving utilizing gold and silver. This is most likely a scene from a very famous story, but jetlag makes my mind a bit foggy at the moment. Well carved, one can see the detail on the warrior, and the waves are very well cut. Amazing is the ultra fine detail showing the family crests on the flags in the background, all in all a quality tsuba at a fair price. This tsuba has not yet been submitted for shinsa, it is a fresh piece that just came in so the price at the moment is set very reasonable.
