Nicely shaped wakizashi done in the style known as unokubi zukuri or more commonly known as naginata zukuri. The hamon is a very nice gunome midare with thick nie as good Hizento should be. Kinsuji is seen in various places throughout the hamon. The jigane is a nice koitame with some slight roughness on one side in a small area. The temperline is really nice to look at. The shape is very pleasing as well. This blade has the nice shape due to the presence of the okissaki. From a very old collector with an old NBTHK paper attributing the blade to Masahiro. In an old shirasaya and wood habaki.
